As education is not just to read and write, but to make use of it own advantages and to utilize knowledge for their growth. ART is an irreplaceable way of understanding and expressing the world. People will agree that art brings joy and cools students down after all the other hard work they have think about during the school days.
Art education can do much more than taking the stress away from the students. The art in the classroom curriculum opens up a diversity of things for students to develop their interest and enjoyment in or express their minds. It not only allows students to enjoy life, but also expand their academic skills.
Students need to have the skills to think critically and deeply, solve problems garner and analyze evidence and make sense of information. ART education enables students to develop these skills. Hence students should not only focus on STEM – (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), but should also develop the Art of perspective – as they can diversify into various different fields.

WHAT IS STRESS
Stress is our body’s wayof responding to any kind of demand. It can be caused by both Good and Bad experiences. When people feel stressed by something going on around them, their bodies react by releasing chemicals into the blood. These chemicals give people more energy and strength, which can be a good thing if their stress is caused by physical danger. But this thing can also be a bad thing, if their stress is in response to something emotional and there is no outlet for this extra energy and strength.

ART THERAPY FOR STRESS MANAGEMENT
Individuals can utilize the advantages of art therapy to embrace their creative side in an effort to diminish stress and get in touch with their feelings.
While you might think that you have no talent for creating art, is actually a great tool for relieving stress, even for those who don’t consider themselves to be particularly creative.
BENEFITS OF ART THERAPY FOR STRESS MANAGEMENT
One of the main reasons that art therapy is so successful is that the simple act of creating art can relieve stress in several ways.
- Distraction – Art can take your mind off of what’s causing you stress. It’s difficult to continue reflecting o your problems when you’re focused on creating. And when you’re finished you will have a clearer head with which to tackle your issues again.
- Flow – This referes to a state of being completely engrossed to the point of being in a near – meditative state. It provides many of the benefits of meditation, which will leave you far less stressed. You can feel the ‘flow’ when you’re participating in creative activities such as painting, sculpting or drawing
- Self-care –With all of life’s responsibilities, we sometimes forget that we deserve downtime and self – care. Regularly devoting time to a hobby can provide more balance in your life and give you more of what you need.
- Chronic stress – can lead to serious health problems if left untreated. Don’t wait until it affects your health, relationships or quality of life.
